Several Institute of Technology Carlow sports scholars have come together to launch the Institute’s new playing kits for the 2018/2019 season.
Molly Scott (U20’s IAAF World Championships 4 x 100m Silver Medal), Amanda Mc Quillan (Ireland Women’s Senior Goalkeeper), Meaghan Kenny (Leinster Women’s Senior Player), Richie Leahy (Kilkenny Senior Hurler) and Michael Hurley (Cork Senior Footballer) were amongst the Institute of Technology Carlow sports scholars who turned out for the reveal of the new kits.
Institute of Technology Carlow has partnered with O’Neills (GAA), Kukri (Rugby), The GAA Store (Soccer) and CX+ (Athletics) to design and launch the new range of performance kits. The new designs all incorporate the traditional red and black colours worn in competition in previous years; however this season sees all performance kits feature the new flo green colour previously used only on GAA playing kits. And, in a new departure, the Carlow colours of red, green and yellow are presented in a newly-designed emblem on the back of each performance jersey.
