IT Carlow Soccer Club win CFAI Cup Treble!

IT Carlow Soccer Club completed a historic CFAI Cup Treble Yesterday.

The C Team got things off to a winning start with a tremendous 4-0 victory over Athlone IT in the final of the Bob Eustace Cup. Alex McCann, Dean Goode, Maurice Hayes and Darren Rogers with the goals.

The B Team followed up the C Team's victory with a 2-0 triumph over Colaiste Ide B in the Final of the CFAI B Team Cup. Micheal Muzzy Mullen opened the scoring in the 1st half with a bullet header. After surviving sustained pressure in last 20 min's, Captain Pierce Donnachie was put through and Messi Like chipped the ball over the advancing keeper to seal the result.

The A Team completed the treble in an entertaining final in Tallaght Stadium to win the 3rd Umbro Ireland Cup final in four years. Following a great run and cross by Adam Hanlon, Ben Ryan was on hand at the back post to head home with a clinical finish.
