UNUM Vice Presidents visit IT Carlow

UNUM Vice Presidents visit IT Carlow IrelandFive senior executives from the US offices of UNUM visited IT Carlow today where they toured the UNUM lab at the institute and met its computing and networking heads of department and lecturers to discuss building on the already successful relationship between the two bodies, including continued internship opportunities for IT Carlow graduates with the company stateside.
 
The visitors included Dave McMahon, UNUM’s Technology Capability Officer (TCO) of Operation Services who leads the IT team responsible for post-production support and managing over 1,000 IT applications. He was joined by fellow Technology Capability Officers (TCO) Kathi O’Grady, Cyndy Cuffey and Michelle Floyd and company directors Darach Rossiter and Michael Smith.
 
“This year we had tremendous success all of the IT Carlow interns at UMUN.  They were truly excellent ambassadors for Unum Ireland, IT Carlow and Ireland Inc. as a whole and we were particularly impressed with the projects and presentations. We look forward to continuing our successful collaborative relationship”, said Colette Lane, Assistant Vice President, UK Groupbal Services (IRE) for UNUM .
